Dual-Spindle CNC Machine Lathe with Movable Sub-Spindle & Independent Gang Tool Slides

The‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ DSL2-6/6P combines dual-spindle and double gang tool carrier features for a high-performance CNC lathe design that supports the heavy-duty, high-efficiency precision machining task. This machine, as a top-selling dual spindle lathe, combines the synchronous dual spindles with high torque and the advanced gang-type tool carrier technology, a combination that sets new standards for productivity and accuracy in mass production and manufacturing of complex components.


As a professional gang tool machine, it does away with turret rotation downtime by using a stiff 2× gang tool carrier system that allows ultra-fast tool changes and continuous high-speed turning. The dual 11kW high-torque motor spindles make it possible to do both front and back machining of workpieces in a single clamping, thus greatly enhancing production throughput and dimensional consistency. High-Power Synchronous Dual Spindles

This twin spindle lathe is equipped with two identical 11kW/52Nm high-torque Longbang disc-type motor spindles (maximum speed 5000RPM), offering strong cutting power for hard materials and heavy stock removal. Due to the synchronous setup, it allows one-clamp complete front/back machining, which eliminates clamping errors and significantly increases production ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌efficiency.‍

Lead Screw

At‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ the heart of this gang tool machine is a set of top-notch ground ball lead screws for X1/X2 and Z1/Z2 axes made by PMI and NSK, respectively. The lead screws have very low backlash and high transmission efficiency. Besides allowing for the precise and quick control of the tool motion at feed rates as high as 22m/min, they also ensure that even complex workpieces can be produced accurately, round after round, under heavy ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌use.‍

Liner Guide Rail

HIWIN‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ and Rexroth premium 35 Roller Guide linear guide rails are installed on the DSL2-6/6P and all its linear axes. Such high-rigidity roller guides offer extraordinary load capacity and low friction. Therefore, they assure very smooth and stable linear motion even when heavy-duty cutting is performed. Also, they exhibit constant positioning accuracy, and time to failure is only after very long service, thereby providing a steady basis for the precise operation of this twin spindle ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌lathe.

CNC Lathe Packaging Instructions

We‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ take several measures to protect our CNC lathe during shipping. It goes through a multi-layer packing process for safe delivery:

1.Firstly, the whole lathe is wrapped with heavy-duty stretch film to prevent dust and scratches.

  1. 2.Then, it is vacuum-packed to keep away moisture during transportation.

  2. 3.After vacuum packaging, the lathe is tightly secured with straps to prevent it from moving.

  3. 4.Finally, it is placed inside a sturdy plywood crate.

The plywood crate is additionally topped with waterproof film that effectively prevents the ingress of rain and moisture to ensure the machine is in a flawless state when ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌delivered.‌‍

    We accept light customization on standard machines with a minimum order quantity (MOQ) of 1 unit. For deep customization—such as increasing axial travel, enlarging milling diameter, or other significant modifications—the MOQ is 10 units, or please contact our sales representative for an accurate requirement based on your specific needs.
  • How much of the machine production is done in-house?

    From the machine enclosure and rough/final machining of castings to critical components like spindle bearing housings — all are manufactured in-house. Over 80% of the machining, assembly, and testing is completed in our own facility. Only specialized components — such as CNC controls, hydraulic units, ball screws, and linear guideways — are sourced from certified partners.
  • What industries are your machines used in?

    Our machines are commonly used in the following industries: Automotive components, 3C electronics, home appliances, aerospace, railway and rail transit, general mechanical parts, machinery manufacturing, IT industry, medical devices, and scientific research.
